Schiano is a good guy. He's a really principled person that tries to convict himself to his beliefs. I truly admire the determination and fortitude of Schiano. When it got really tough, Schiano never even flinched. I'll take someone living a life of purpose over a flake any day. The world could use a lot more people like him. -People that give a damn and are willing to sacrifice to do what they believe in.Coach Schiano, I think you are a very respectable, good, and decent man. We all should strive for excellence as you do. -I mean that.It just did not work here.Best of luck, Gregg.GO BUCS!!!!!!!!
Good post that will get trashed or ignored.
Hate the coach not the man. Thanks for your time and drafting some of the guys you did. Wish him well.
I'll agree with that, he didn't deserve a lot of what was said about him while he was here that attached him personally. He gave it his best and seems like a good man.Good luck where ever you land, same goes for Dom.
I agree, D.He DOES have some admirable qualities... and though he didn't work out as the HC in Tampa, he has my respect... and I appreciate what he tried to do.
great post and its unfortunate that it didn't work here
+1
Sorry, he's a dick. All the stories about cussing out an assistant coach in front of the team and treating media and scouts like children, see ya coach.
I agree, and while I think the team learned a lot from him, and McCoy became a megastar under him, he's just not fit to be an NFL coach just yet. He's got a good job at Penn State that will be waiting for him, and I would keep an eye out for any front 7 guys he develops there
Agree 100%. I wish Gregg and Dom the best of luck wherever they land.
Schiano is a bitch and deserved what he got. See ya later fuck boy
+1. Wishing Schiano the best of luck where ever he goes.
Nothing wrong with the thread. Good luck and riddance.
Good luck wherever you go Greg
I liked Schiano, all about him really. His down fall wasn't his attitude or how he treated the players. It wasn't his integrity or anything else. His down fall was one thing and one thing only, his inability to adapt to the players he had and the schemes he was facing. We did well against teams we were better than. When we could line up and have our guys beat their guys we won, but that isn't the NFL. Greg and his crew never seemed able to exploit a teams weakness and that is what a great staff does. Good luck to him, he'll probably turn Penn. st back into the program of yesteryear but not currently a NFL coach.
