Always tough to read much from first games and the Bucs basically handed it to them but their defense looked better (not much to brag about).Â

The Bengals are similar to the Bucs in that they do not need elite defensive play with the respective offenses they have at their disposal. But I think the Bengals have done enough defensive improvements that they can compete with anybody now.
Their interior DL rotation is impressive now that they have Allen and Lawrence and will give teams fits. Mafe is disruptive playing behind the LOS too.
