Cheering for the saints this week is cheering for the bucs next year. Knocking the saints out of the playoffs would be a beautiful thing, but it would be even more beautiful if we had a staff competent enough to sweep the saints next year en route to the playoffs. That staff is not currently patrolling our sideline, and in order for that to happen, this staff needs the boot. I want to see cheers of "Who Dat" and people throwing jambalaya on each other in bliss only to have it come back to bite them in the ass next year when we come back better than ever-due in part to them. The saints are going to be pissed and in their house to boot.If there was any chance at a blowout this whole season, this would be it. We can't do Jack on offense, and they can.They had better hope for some of those turnovers, and even then it's not too possible. We don't really need to root against anyone, they'll just get coached badly again anyway.
No matter what happens next week, I'll be happy. I can't root against the Bucs, because it's just not how it works during the game. I would rather the Bucs lose this game as it helps our draft position and because I think Schiano is definitely gone if we don't win, but I'd be just as happy if we won and knocked the Saints out of the playoffs.But if we win, and Schiano stays, I'll hate myself. this nightmare needs to end. we need a real coach here. the guy is just not able to run an nfl team effectively. this offseason is gonna be interesting. im done with glennon too. he just has no ability to use his legs whatsoever. he folds under pressure. i dont see that changing its getting worse. give me a playmaker. this guy doesnt have the it factor that we need. if we have a half way decent qb and line. we are in the playoffs right now. bottom line were underachieving
The decision on Schiano - and Dominik for that matter - should already be made before Sunday. One game won't swing it one way or the other, at least it shouldn't. But the Glazers probably will sit and wait and debate forever as usual while all the other good coaching candidates get hired by other teams. Glazers should be burning up the phone lines this week and meeting with team leaders. Get the jump on this for once.
