A few weeks ago, while hope was  eternal in Tampa, I posted that the Bucs were not going to the playoffs. I don't write that to brag, but just to show I'm a more patient fan than a lot of posters on this board. I was okay with this team finishing 6-10 or 7-9 with a rookie QB, and rookies all over this team, that's an acceptable record. What's not acceptable are the games we loose (the past 3 to bad teams) and the way we lose them (same freaking reasons every time). I defended Lovie as much as I could, but he needs to go. We have a fantastic YOUNG core on this team. Winston, Evans, Sims, Marpet, Smith, Brate, ASJ and Kwon are fantastic building blocks. Winston is ridiculously great. His leadership is special. Honestly, the right coach wouldn't even have to blow this thing up. The NFC South is also weak and getting worse. Which brings up the FOLK issue.A lot of people don't want Jameis to have to start over with a new offense. I get that but I think you are underestimating Jameis if you think its that big of a deal. Jameis is pro ready as advertised. His best quality is his leadership and football IQ. He can handle a new offense. The rest of the guys may struggle a little, but I'm sure Jameis can lead them. We need an aggressive forward thinking coach in Tampa. We have a great GM. Lovie is an old dude stuck in his ways. I had his back for a while, but losing the last 3 games should seal his fate imo. Koetter has done a fantastic job, and as a fan, am I super thankful for him. But this team needs a new head coach.Do you really think a guy like Adam Gase or Hue Jackson is going to think twice about the chance to work with Jameis? Any head coach we bring in is gonna want to work here. We are lucky enough to have a franchise QB. I just hope the Glazers don't skip out on a great HC because they are scared Jameis can't handle it. I'm fully confident he can. I'm even more confident in the fact that the dude is dying to win. I want a coach that's dying to win also.
