I remember when it wasn't so obviously fake as today. I especially remember the first time I saw Rhodes & Murdoch on Gordon Solie's gig. Bigger and brasher than I'd ever seen. They just destroyed the tag team champs like roadkill; forget their names, but they had been good up until this match. Remember the Grahams, Hiro Matsuda, Pak Song, Haystacks Calhoun, Andre the Giant. Is the Undertaker still around?
So glad Jake is doing well.My dream, in addition to seeing a game at RayJay, is being a wrestling booker. The great PAUL HEYMAN even gave me a shoutout on twitter once...it was like seeing your hero tell you, "One day, you'll do it too!"...I still have that tweet saved.
Yes, NDY! He's now past the 20-0 mark at Wrestlemania.
Hate dont forget Mr. Wrestling 1 AND 2.. Blackjack Mulligan and even The Spoiler, Don Muraco, Kevin Sullivan. And never forget the great Mr. Solie "Thats all she wrote"
I was at work when i typed that....could come up with a lot more if i took the time to do so. Man, i never missed rastlin' on Saturday nights. Funny story, when i was a kid, probably 10-12ish, my great aunt was a wrestling fanatic. She used to go over to the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory every tuesday night. If anyone ever told that lady wrestling was fake, you'd have to fight her.
On a side note, Mason Foster does the Flair strut. Is Mason a fan, does anyone know the story behind that?
I asked his dad about that and he said yes. Said they used to watch it all the time when he was a kid and Flair is his favorite.
I still remember your post last year, hate..."That damned Rock has me watching wrestling again!"Too bad his dinosaur ass couldn't put over any young guys except Cena's fake azz!
