I don't think enough attention has been paid to the "Tedford Effect".The dude installs (maybe he didn't even get all of the offense installed since he was out week 3 of the preseason) a pretty wieldy offense that is supposed to take a couple of years to digest and then peaces out (rightfully so) to deal with heart complications. In turn we get Arroyo, a QB coach calling plays? Has he ever been an Offensive Coordinator at any level, let alone the NFL?With all that game planning, how does he have time to work with the QBs to help them develop??With the shortage of hands on the offensive deck (no lame pirate pun intended) I'm willing to bet Lovie has been in the Offensive rooms more than the defensive - and it shows. That leaves Frazier on his own, who has not been up to snuff the slightest bit. I think of all the Dungy disciples Frazier is the most conservative - and that is really saying something.I think you see the offense get its shit together a few weeks after Tedford is back in the fold, and Lovie can go back to focusing 90% on the defense.I'm willing to bet that by mid-season the Bucs are competitive, if they don't lose any more damn bodies out there. and we finish with a 4-6 record after the bye week - just pushing out of range for the player we really want to draft, as usual! But yeah, don't underestimate the Tedford effect on this team. I'm sure it runs a lot deeper than we think.
