There’s only one Baker Mayfield, and he’s in Tampa.
For the second straight game, Baker Mayfield has been more Gus Swayze than Baker Mayfield for most of both games. Fortunately, Baker Mayfield showed up at the end of both games. It would be nice if Baker made an earlier appearance this coming Sunday against the Jets.
definitely agree on part in bold. In fact, if you were looking for the biggest difference in the offenses '24 to 2'5 its the first quarter. Its very early but the 24 team finished #1 in the league, average of 6 points in 1st quarter (roughly). Right now they are 18th at only 3.1
The strange part is Mayfield finished the Texans game 25 of 38 for 215 yds s TDS and 98 RT. Both of those TDs are first half though and at halftime he had a 125 RT and was 13/18
so early in the season that stats can be a bit misleading, but for what its worth
