Make no mistake in what I'm saying, because we deserved to lose this game. I just point how a few plays can make a huge difference in a game. First comes the bad snap to start the game. Inexcusable, and kudos to the defense for only giving up a field goal, but that's three points.Second, Brinza or however you spell his name has to go. There's no excuse for missing that first field goal and after he missed that, did anyone really think he was going to make the second one? He makes those (along with if that snap doesn't happen), and suddenly its 34-29.Finally, Tampa had Carolina stopped on a pass break up after a Winston turnover, but Conte gets called for a pass interference that I didn't see and neither did the announcers. Instead of punting, Carolina takes the ball in for a td. Take that away and we can be ahead 29-27.Woulda, shoulda, coulda, I know. Winston made some awful throws. All, this, and yet if we can hit field goals and the ref doesn't call a non-penalty, the game has a completely different feel. A few plays and it's a different game, and the plays I picked I did so because they involved routine stuff that shouldn't have happened.
