Great drive to show why the Bucs struggled (execution).  Post-game Mayfield actually comments on the last play, see below.

Anyway this is how that drive goes. We start at out 20 with 5 minutes plus because of a GREAT INT.

1st and 10 - 5 yard run (WIN)

2nd and 5  - 6 yard pass to White (WIN)

1st and 10 - 1 yard checkdown to White (LOSS)

2nd and 9 - 16 yard pass to Otton (Great call, middle of the field matched up with an LB, Egbuka taking people deep) (WIN)

1st and 10 - 18 yard rn by Tucker - its a great run and call (and a Coen-special, Otton in motion making the key block) (WIN)

1st and 10 - INCOMPLETE PASS -- a DROP by an open Johnson. Hits him in the hands (LOSS). Johnson slows down. If he runs through he's off to the races

2nd and 10 - Complete to Otton  for 7 (WIN, bread an butter play)

TWO DOWNS TO MAKE THREE YARDS *

TWO MINUTE WARNING SO PLENTY OF TIME TO THINK IT THROUGH

3rd and 3 - INCOMPLETE TO OTTON. (LOSS) - watch the play, Mayfield is going there no matter what. Its the same play as the one prior,  LOOK AT WHITE FOR THE SCREEN

4th and 3 - blitz obviously coming. 7 or 8 Pats at the LOS. Mayfield looks right to the bunch formation BUT THEN left where there is no one. Sacked

So, you could definitely take issue with the 3rd and 3 incomplete to Otton, but is that the call or Mayfield?

The reason I say "Mayfield" is because he's locked in on Otton the whole way but it could alos be call, they have Gonzalez on Otton so they know its coming. The point though is that the screen is there to White, especially in two down territory. So who knows? The Pats key on Otton and Mayfield throws it there. But, when we ran a similar play earlier White stayed in, this time he's out for the screen, so seems like the play design was to look like Otton, but go screen. Either way we did not.

On 4th and 3, the blitz is obviously coming. Mayfield takes one beat right toward the bunch and then looks left but White is in blocking. Maybe a miscommunication? Maybe not, but post game Mayfield says "CHAAD (White) 'knows' he still has to get out into his route." Recall he ends up flipping it to him as he's going down.

The screen out to White is an easy first down and maybe a TD. The reason I think this is a White error is because he stay into to block the outside of the line (left of Wirfs) where no help is needed. The stunt is inside. So, its like his timing is off, he is chipping on his way out, but its a blitz. If he was supposed to stay in hed get the interior stunt.

Who knows but Mayfield's post game comments are all about execution and the "little things"

On 4th and 3, our starting LG who is a JAG got beat on a stunt which allowed immediate pressure. He didn't even slow the EDGE defender down just a straight shot at Mayfield. He had no chance to get that ball out.
