Bennett just turned 28 and has low miles considering his path.....why is he limited to having just 2 effective season left?

Two or three effective seasons is what I said. You think he is going to be a nine sack guy, or even a seven sack guy at 32? He will be rotational, or out of the NFL.Also, he has low amount of snaps, but he has been nicked up here and there. I am a fan. Didn't think Dom was smart, nor S for that matter, for letting him go. It was really stupid. Still is, no matter how you explain it. From what I have gathered, MB wanted to stay, deserved to stay, and S said not my kind of guy. And now, S is gone, Dom is gone, and Bennett is gone, and the Bucs front four is pathetic. He indeed has two, max three seasons of effectiveness left.

When he is 32 he will have played 4 more seasons.....not 2. Or 3. Make up your mind.

LOLzzz...Three seasons at most. Most likely two, IMO.By his fourth season he will be done sauce.K?
Ok. So at 30 years old he will definitely be done? Not that any of this really matters. I just think you're making stuff up with no rhyme or reason. Plenty of DEs play well into their mid 30s.
I just think he will be a rotational, or vastly declined player.Lots of DEs wash out at 31. Not making that up at all.I think it is YOU that is making up a reason to be a dunce regarding this matter. But then again, that is what groupies do.

No "edit"?Make up YOUR mind. HA HA HA!!
How about this, when Bennett turns 32, we will see how "effective" he is...and bang for the buck is a factor in this argument...We will see if I am right, or if you are.I'll take MY chances arguing against ya. All day every day.
Well I'm sure you'll let me know since you are obsessed with being right. Point is, when is is 32 he will have already played 4 more seasons of football....so what does that matter? You are saying he'll be washed up at 30.
Obsessed with being right? Or making sure people who argue against my points when they are arguing against me get their due? yeah...I get the obsession...ha ha ha! However, I said three, at best, EFFECTIVE seasons left. That takes him to 31. Anything after that, mother nature will take care of...he will decline...EFFECTIVE being the key words here.I think he can bag 7-10 sacks next year, probably replicate the same feat the year after, and then we MIGHT see a decline (thus the THREE AT BEST statement on my behalf). At 32, IN MY OPINION, I think he will have lost a lot of his scrap, and he will be a rotational, or out of the league. Is that too damned hard to digest?JESUS H CHRIST! SMH...Next year, he will be 29 in Nov, he should still have good legs.Year after, he will be thirty. Should still be solid.Year after, he will be 31, and if he hasn't started showing signs of decline, by 32, IMO, he will be a replaceable cog. And depending on how his contract would be structured, he might not be worth the cap hit for his production.Pulling stuff out of my azz? Gimme a break.
Why don't you propose some actual numbers, JDud? We'll run them and see how they work out.
I would love if our off-season went like this.

Let me break this down so you can wrap you mind around it.He will play in 2014 at age 28.He will play in 2015 at age 29He will play in 2016 at age 30.He will play in 2017 at age 31.He will play in 2018 at age 32. You keep saying 2 or 3 seasons, which would make him 30....but you keep talking about when he is 32. It's basic math that you learn in 3rd grade. Quit being a phukn spaz and think about what you are saying. Absolutely no reason to believe he can't play at a high level until age 32...which is FIVE seasons from now.
Wtf am I doing filling my own thread with nonsense back and forth with the town spaz? You win Boid. You win.
Three seasons puts him at 31.His birthday is in November, so he will hit 29 next season.that is year 1.In year 2, he will START the season at 29, finish it at 30.In year 3, he will START the season at 30, finish it at 31.He starts the fourth year of fictional contract at 31, finishes it at 32. I think by then he will have lost his value...he isn't John Abraham, or Julius Peppers. I could be wrong, but I fail to see how this is so hard to digest...ha ha ha!!
