This is different than the Rah hire

Many pundits and fans are comparing this to the Rah situation when the Glazers fired Gruden to keep Morris. It is different.Rah was a POSITION coach and was quite a bit younger than Koetter. It was a huge reach and many of us knew it at the time.Koetter has been position coach for many years, has actually been a HC (albeit in college). Koetter is the favorite mainly because of Winston. Winston is the key here...in this situation, there was not a franchise player involved in the decision with Morris/Gruden.There are similarities but there are also differences. The biggest difference is the substantial amount of experience that Koetter brings to the table.
