You can usually take it to the bank when praise is publicly handed out by coaches. It may be trying to boost up a chosen player, but they aren't going to lie and say a player is doing well when he isn't. So when Arians points out somebody is doing well, I think its true.

On the flipside, coaches are more likely to keep the concerns in house. There is no use in calling out a player in the press. That does nothing but piss off players, and make the coaches look bad that they are throwing players under the bus.

So there may be some rumblings about this player or that not doing the job, but other times you can start to wonder about guys if nobody says anything good about them. Maybe they are just trying not to throw the guy under the bus publicly, but when the time comes for cutdowns.... Sometimes in training camp no news is bad news.

Its way to early to really for that kind of intepretation, but nevertheless I'm interested in hearing about some of these guys. Such as....

Blaine Gabbert. I guess that's who I'm wondering about at this point. I think we are going to need Gabbert more than your typical backup. I hope not, but Brady is 43 and we are going to need to get the backup in there to spell Brady now and then IMO, hopefully not because of injury.

How about Joe Haeg? He's a veteran, but new to the Bucs. Guys like David, Suh, Donovan Smith I don't expect to hear much about. Just show up in New Orleans. But Haeg is new, and Bucs fans are well aware that not all veteran free agents pan out. We're going to need this guy, and we haven't heard much about him so far.

Who else are you interested in hearing about?
