TO ME . . thats is a terrible way to enjoy/support a team . . BUT TO EACH THEIR OWN

Well.... let me give you a different persective.

This team is DOGSHIT.  We suck.

Take Eagles fans.  They are human pond scum, but they are good fans.   It really pains me to say this:  We should be more like them.

How would they react to what we've witnessed?  Bucs fans have been way too tolerant of the stinking rotten garbage that they're trying to pass off to us as NFL football.  We should be booing them off the field.  Bucs fans are too nice.  This isn't high school.  This is the "Not For Long" league and Bowles and Baker and Winfield and Licht and everybody else should be hearing this from the fans loud and clear, but I don't think they are.  We're so disgustingly supportive.

I just got over it.  Just now. Over it.  I wouldn't boo Santa Claus, but I'm starting to see where they were coming from.

We are way too nice. How long are we puitting up with this joke of a team?  NOT FOR LONG!

BUCS, YOU SUCK!  It's getting darn close to firing time.  Black Monday can't come soon enough!

It's time for Bucs fans to be heard loud and clear - BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

They are the opposite of good fans, actually. The Vet had a jail cell in the bottom. They pelted Santa with snowballs. They throw batteries lol.

They are the worst and know it.

I was only highlighting the difference in mindset.  You said that the season is a failure because of the performance relative to expectations. Most fans feel that way.  Almost no fans question whether the expectation might have been off, like 2022.

anyway "to each their own" means I recognize everyone sees it there own way.

I said "more like" not completely like. If you look around the league you have some pretty rabid fans in Buffalo, KC, Green Bay, Minnesota, Chicago. Tampa Bay doesn't come to mind when you bring up rabid fans. Being a good fan in the NFL doesn't mean "rah rah go team!" when your team sucks.  That's not a good NFL fan.  This isn't your sons little league team. You can and should boo a team when they deserve it, which they do.  They've lost six out of seven. They've lost to teams they should have beaten.  They aren't 2-14 but they would be if they played all year like they're playing the last two months or so.  And they should be better than that.  They're not playing with heart.  They're not playing with urgency.  Don't you think they deserve to be booed?

Eagles are the worst fan base of any team in any sport

Well throwing batteries and beating up opposing fans and using racial slurs is going a bit too far.  But for having an average IQ of 80 you have to give them credit for knowing their football. And Philly can always be proud that they are the Tire Retreading Capital of the World!  That's why their unemployment rate is so low.

But nevertheless, I don't think Bucs fans have truly processed how pissed they should be at the performance of their team.  There was so much of what we now know was bullshit about how good this team was this year, and they still haven't fully process what has become of their team.

Well I've fully processed and I've discovered - we suck.  We're a disgrace of a football team.  They should be booed loudly.

Just read this quote from the PR rival site:

Almost immediately, Grizzard said after the Bucs return to One Buc Palace after a game, the next week’s game is in full focus.

“When you come out to a practice on a Wednesday or a Thursday, you don’t really feel the loss from the [previous game],” Grizzard said. “We’re going through the next portion of the gameplan [for the next game].

“So the juice is up. … These guys have a lot of juice. There is a lot of veteran leadership on this team. We’re ready to rock.”

Joe doesn’t know how to take this. Joe gets what Grizzard is trying to say. Players have to lock in on the next game and push away the memory of a loss.

Then again, as Bucs coach Todd Bowles famously said a few weeks ago in an f-bomb-filled rant after the loss to the Dixie Chicks, until the Bucs feel the sting of a loss, feel the hurt of a loss, they may not be passionate enough and not detest losing enough to prevent losing the next game.

What Grizzard described is sort of the vibe Joe got in the locker room Tuesday. Joe didn’t see anyone hollering or cussing or throwing a chair. No one bitter (that Joe could see) over choking away another game, this time to Carolina.

Business as usual. We’re on to Miami.

And maybe, that’s the problem with the Bucs.

Perhaps the fans need to let the team know there feelings.  Especially those fans who actually go to the game and don't sell their tickets. They should be angry. They should be pissed that they are putting down their hard earned money.  They aren't getting a refund.  They can't package up their tickets and bring them back to the UPS store.  Screw being supportive.  This team doesn't need more support. They need a kick in the ass.  And I guess the kick Bowles is giving them isn't doing the job.  Perhaps a nice chorus from the fans would help?  Couldn't hurt.  And what would Baker say? Pretty sure he'd say "We deserve it!"

Well let's get real... Bucs fans and Eagles fans are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

FFS when the eagles play in Tampa it's half eagles fans.

Bucs fans (specially fans in Florida of most teams) are uninterested, quiet, and don't show up.

And that's not a knock. There's so much shit to do in Florida with great weather that the culture and lifestyle is just different than the frigid NE.

Eagles fans are psychotic emotional idiots who are entitled to winning... And eagles fans permeates to the entire fanbase not just the ones that live in Philly. My good friend is an eagles fan that lives in Portland and he's such a bitch it's insane... They just won the super bowl and all he does is complain about Siriani.

Eagles fans suck. I would never go to an eagles game as a visiting team. They are literally dangerous neaderthals.

Bucs fans barely fill the seats, they sell their tickets to the snow birds, and we have almost no homefield advantage.

I'm also a Heat (don't ask me to explain) and again... Fans show up late and leave early.

I'm not sure if FSU or UF are similar or not... I'd imagine that happens less... But in the PNW the fans show up and show out. Autzen is small and yet one of the loudest stadiums. Lumen is deafening. Moda center deafening.

as someone who lives in Philadelphia, i can assure you, you hit the nail on the head.  Going to a game in opposing teams jersey leads to one of two things - If you are losing, you can get roused all game long; if you are winning, your life is in danger

and...even though Hurts is maybe a top 15-20 QB, (certainly overr-rated given their SB win as many had him in top 10); fans wanting him benched is a bit extreme the year after a Super Bowl.

And my friend thinks it's funny that visiting fans go their and people steal their hats and shit and throw coins and beers at them.

It's fucking pathetic and they all do it because they feel safe in their numbers. If they were solo they'd be soft as baby shit.

There's no place in sports for fans like that.

Washington fans (Seahawks and Huskies) are a lighter version for them but not quiet as psychotic and certainly not threatening that often.

Even people from Philly agree. . . lmao.  They know.

Ive seen the Bucs play in at least a dozen away stadiums and almost always with Bucs gear on. The Vet was the exception, even though I have deep connections to Philly. Actually, BECAUSE of those connections to Philly lmao

It's a death sentence

I was there with a group of buddies for the NFCCG in the Vet.

And, yes, we wore Bucs gear.

To this day it’s still my favorite game in person.

True.

There were 7 of us in total.

Was on the receiving end of plenty of hateful rhetoric, insults, and a few “airborne” beers that clearly slipped from someone’s hands.

But, they were all talk.

Nobody in green wanted to clock in when pressed with potential physical extracurricular activities.

Oh damn that's amazing you were there...

The fans have gotten worse tho... Much worse the last 25 years.
