who do you got? what would you change?
My list:
1. LB Derrick Brooks
2. DT Warren Sapp
3. CB Ronde Barber
4. WR Mike Evans
5. DE Lee Roy Selmon
6. S John Lynch
7. LB Lavonte David
8. QB Tom Brady
9. DE Simeon Rice
10. FB Mike Alstott
Honorable Mention: RB Warrick Dunn, WR Chris Godwin, LB Hardy Nickerson, DT Gerald McCoy, OL Paul Gruber
Feel Evans, once all said and done, could be as high as #1 and perhaps #2 but definitely on the mount Rushmore.
i didn't see Selmon play so hard for me to rank him too high but also think he needs to be in top 10
Brady changed the culture here and appreciate short lived but with a Lombardy and change of culture gets him on it
Feel like need to have HOF's on the list.

This is great and reinforces my belief that Brooks is the best Buc ever.
Also hilarious that Doug Martin was all pro
Trash lists from all of you. Wirfs is already on Bucs Mt Rushmore and is rapidly approaching Brooks status.
1) Leroy Selmon (I did see him play)
I think Sapp was a total wrecking ball but to give some perspective on Mr Selmon, I think Sapps sack average for a 17 game season was about 8. Mr Selmon was roughly 11, in an errand where offenses were still built around RBs. Sacks were not even a thing lol
May be off a bit but the point is that Mr Selmon was pretty dominant and on some bad teams. I think Mr Selmon had something like 85 tackles per season and Sapp is in the 50s.
definitely not diminishing Sapp or Brooks. Only saying Selmon was a force too and trying to add context for those too young to have seen him.
by the way, he was also even nicer that Gerald McCoy lol
Pretty tough thing to do, ranking players. Tough because what is the criteria?
Hardy Nickerson is really the start of a defensive turnaround. Then Sapp and Brooks lift the whole team, in two very different ways. Etc.
interesting reading everyone's thoughts.
Countless ways to quantify the true greatness of Derrick Brooks, but one unusual one might be to look at the success of Shelton Quarles. When he got here Quarles was unsure he'd even make the team.
great players bring out the best in the players around them

Wirfs has only played in five seasons. He's not on Rushmore yet. He needs to continue his dominance for a few more years to be on Rushmore and get in the HOF. If he blows out his ACL tomorrow and never recovers, he's neither at this point. I will say I was surprised nobody listed him before I did.
But step up the plate, slugger.
