1: QB2: DE3: WR4: TE5: O-lineTo me, Glennon still hasn't shown me that he's a franchise QB. With that said, he really doesn't have a ton of weapons to throw to. When you are throwing to guys like Underwood, Owusu, Dawson...those are not starting caliber NFL WRs. We need to get Mike Williams back next year and then add one more WR to go along with Jackson. We also could use another TE to go along with Wright. Our pass rush has been better but we are blitzing a ton. I think we need to add another DE. With that said, I think our biggest problem is on offense right now. Our defense (if we add a top DE) would be top 10 in the league...I have no doubt. Finally, I think our O-line is serviceable but every position on that O-line can be upgraded. Nobody is elite. Hopefully we finally get Nicks back for a whole season. Penn might need to be replaced. He's a good tackle but not elite and doesn't deserve the salary he makes. With our first pick, I'd be happy with a OT, DE, QB, or WR. I'd also be happy if we traded down half a dozen spots and picked up an extra pick and drafted a top TE.

There is a reason Wright was to TE, he wasn't even getting looked at our of RU for WR and barely got any looks while he was there, I'm from Nj and watched a lot of Rutgers and Wright wasn't a part of their game plan, I agree we do need another TE but no way is it the first thing we need. He keeps getting better each week so why fix what's not broken and move him back to WR? Imagine how effective he could be with a coaching staff who actually knows how to run an offense. I think coaching staff is the biggest need on this team with QB still a question mark for me.

After competent owners and coaching I would list our needs as:1- QB- Even if Glennon turns out to be a good QB,  we still would need another guy. ............and I am not sold on Glennon at all. 2- DE- We really need a new RDE who along with GMAC can take this defense to the next level.3- OG- We desperately need to end the Davin Joseph experiment. 4- TE- Wright is having a good rookie year. Behind him there is nothing. 5- WR- Should have been addressed earlier. Give me another big target who can out jump every CB. Not a speed WR at all unless he has very good size. In other words, we already have Underwood and Owusu and all their speed has done for us?  Not much. I also don't think OL is a huge need overall. One dominant OG and our line would be just fine. Although I am not opposed to drafting for depth at OL.

1.Coaching Staff2.DE3.WR4.TE5.RG

Staff is the number one priority.  They flat out suck.  I hate this staff.  We might need to put new ownership ta the top because they suck at picking football people.

Ideally..QB - Grab a QB like McCarron with a early/mid round pick to at least give Glennon competition. He hasn't proven himself yet, but I think he's shown enough to allow us to use our 1st elsewhere. DE/Pass rush OLB - The DE class drops off a good bit after Clowney, if he's there pull the trigger. If not, hopefully we've signed someone in free agency. Barr works too.TE - Use our 2nd round pick on one, TE class is deep. That guy from Washington would be my pick.OT- If Clowney/Barr are gone, it's a toss-up between OT and play making receiver. I think Penn and Dotson are serviceable enough.. but sometime's it's questionable.WR - On paper we look good, VJax and MWilliams. V Jax is getting old and as seen, if him or Williams goes out we're paper thin. If we could bring in a Sammy Watkins type receiver by trading down, this would be perfect to solve the WR position.C - We really need to address Zuttah at center... Don't know enough about any center prospects to comment though. So my hypothetical draft would be...1st round...IF Clowney/Barr are there, take Clowney, Barr if Clowney has been grabbed.Else, grab the top linemen or trade back and acquire a pick and a WR.2nd round... grab a TE... if nobody noteworthy is there, O-line.3rd round...* If we traded back we will probably have a third round... grab McCarron or a QB prospect.4th round... depth

The good news is, I think we can address the d-line, o-line. and get another CB in free agency. So hopefully we can use the draft for QB, TE, and WR. D-line should be upgraded through FA for sure. With Justin Tuck, Jared Allen, Greg Hardy, and Michael Johnson all available....we should be able to get a stud DE. If we have a whole new coaching staff, Michael Bennett might be an option too. Brian Orakpo might be an option too. He's been a 3-4 OLB, but I think he could be a great 4-3 DE. There are also some DTs that could improve our pas rush. Like Arthur Jones, Lamaar Houston, Melton, Starks, and Linval Joseph. On the o-line, if we cut Nicks and Joseph, maybe we can sign some other top FAs like Winston, Oher, Brandon Albert, Saffold, Wharton, Slausons, Waters, Boothe, Mack, Koppen, Garza, or Watkins. There are a lot of DBs scheduled to be FAs. Too many to list. My favorite guy is still Sam Shields, but we should be able to improve our secondary depth/starters by signing a FA. With QB, TE, and WR.....the options just aren't there in FA. Those the positions we really need to draft.

Who do you think we can significantly improve the pass rush with just through free agency?

Wouldn't disagree with that either - though I am less certain about the qb class than others seem to be

This class looked so deep and solid.  Things sure have changed.

Tuck would be nice if we could pull it off , but competition will be high.Allen probably isn't coming here , and would take a king's ransom to change his mind.Guy like Hardy and Johnson could possibly be extended before they even hit the market. So , nothing is assured on that front.

Now that we're closing in on the end to this miserable season, we need to start thinking about what our top needs are. Here's my list, and I'd love to hear yours.1. QB2. LT3. TE4. LE5. WR (speed)Your turn.

You got to be kidding me...Glennon needs to be left alone....He is a very good QB and lets see him develop..I can't wait to see the rest of these...OBD

no way TE is this teams number 1 need

I like the way Wright is playing but if you get this arrnagement, an Ebron or the kid from UW. They play TE, Wright who is the same size as Jurevicious moves to slot or WR#2, MW19 comes back to be WR2/Slot as well added to VjAX. Not a great WR corps but moving Wright does sort of use one bullet to solve 2 problems.

What would you think of moving Demps to the Slot?

Looking at the three phases of the Bucs team:Special Teams are good, next year they get Barth back plus Demps/Smith for Kick Offs so no outstanding need thereDefense is meddle of the road, lacking consistent pass rush. They fixed the CB problem, SS issue and the linebackers are good. McCoy, Spence and Gholston look like the future, not sure of Clayborn. An edge rusher is a mustOffense is not as bad as it looks to me. I would move Dotson to LT, Meridith to LG, Larsen to center and unload Nicks, Penn, Zuttah and Joseph. I would also clear out the dead wood at WR getting rid of Underwood for openers and keep Jackson, Williams, Wright (I know hes a TE) and maybe Owasu.Off season strategy:Pick up Jared Allen. Period That makes the defense good and gives a consistent pass rush.Pick up two Olinemen for the RT & RG side that can road grade and protectPick up a veteran QBDraft:DE-to complement Jared Allen and rotate Gholston, Bowers inside. Slot receiver- to get seperation and move the chainsTE-A big. tough blocking TE is in orderRt-for the futureRG for the futureRT for the futureHopefully by getting rid of Penn, Joseph, Nicks and Joseph, they can pick up an extra pick or two late. I know this is radical but the Oline is what is wrong with this team. All the talk about All Pros is nonsense and they are either in the tub or getting blown up. Cut your losses and let Glennon develop. We have talented WRs and RBs. with some depth. Give the offense some time and see where it goes. If we can score some points the defense gets betterso for me, the whole off season revolves arond getting past the band aid approach to the Oline and weapons for Glennon. Fix the offense and we are a solid to good team. let Bob Bostad work his magic.

1 QB- To those who don't want the Bucs to draft one, Why not? If Glennon is as good as you say he is, he will win the battle.2 OL- OT, OG, C It doesn't matter, its all in shambles IMO3 DE - Need more from the line without blitzing4 CB- Beyond Revis and Banks(sometimes), I have no faith in them5 TE- One that can run block like Anthony Becht used too. Not strictly a pass catcher. Must open up holes for the RBs

Not exactly....clubs have wayyyy wayyyy too much pressure in inserting 1st round pick QB's regardless of whether they win "the battle" or not.  Are you telling me Freeman won "the battle" this offseason???  I bet he didn't yet he started the season and was only pulled after a historically horrendous start.Draft investment carries weight....even several years after the fact.  Seriously, why is Davin Joseph still playing?Anyhow, here's my list.1. Coaching staff.2. Oline.3. Oline.4. Oline.5. Oline/TE
