I was bored and watching some videos of the TEs and WOW! Eric Ebron is a beast. If we can trade back and get our 3rd rounder back and get Ebron I would be majorly stoked. Ebron is going to be a superstar.
He reminds me a lot of Vernon Davis. Not as good a blocker as Davis was though.

I like him, but not at #7. I doubt he is still there for the Bucs 2nd round pick. So, like you say, a tradeback might be the way to go.

That's like saying the Raiders 2007 draft is good if you switch out Jamarcus Russell. Lol.Then there is the fact that Fierdo-whatever isn't going to be the highest rated TE on the board at the top of the 2nd.Lastly DE , our biggest need , isn't addressed until round 3 with a meh player.Weak draft. well if i was running with that draft im fine with it if we swapped Carr for a DE. Fiedorowicz may very well be the highest ranked TE at that point if he blows the combine up. if Ebron, Amaro, an ASJ are gone then hes the next best TE available. after CJ theres a HUGE drop off in TE talent

No , there is a huge drop off BEFORE CJ and after those 1st 3 mentioned . CJ is a slightly improved Puke Stocker clone . He isn't stretching any defenses up the middle or causing many mismatches. He's a reach that high.Also , one of the top 3 should be there at the top of the 2nd .
I think we will figure out a way to recoup a 3rd round pick. I also think we will use this FA period to strengthen our D-line and O-line so they won't be such huge needs in the draft.
