So I keep reading about the 49ers and how they are the team to trade with this year because they have so many draft picks, but unlike most teams they have a very good roster with very few open spots. So the theory is they will want to trade up for the best players, rather than getting many lesser players. Or trade for future draft picks. They currently have a 1st, two 2nds, three 3rds, a 4th, a 5th, and three 7ths. My question to you is this....what if the 49ers view Sammy Watkins as a once in a decade receiver like many do, and they feel he is the missing piece to get them a ring? What if Watkins is there at 7 and they come calling and say they want to swap their 30th pick for our 7th, and they are willing to give up both of their 2nd round picks (56th&61st), and one of their 3rd round picks (77th) in order to make it happen. The 49ers would get Sammy Watkins, and still have two 3rd round picks, a 4th, a 5th, and three 7ths.We would have a 1st, three 2nds, and two 3rds....the 30th, 38th, 56th, 61st, 69th, and 77th picks.Would you do it?
