hear me out on this one

our team is critically weak in multiple areas and we wont be able to fix it quickly. the only way to fix this is to draft players. i know that getting rid of Pro Bowl players and replacing them with Rookies is EXTREMELY dangerous but i almost think we're going to have to do it.

McCoy is a great players but hes literally the only thing we have in the middle so teams can focus on neutralizing him and not worrying about the other guys. hes getting close to 30 and hes still playing well so hes still got healthy trade value.

Lavonte is in the same situation but for a different reason. hes a really good player but we do have nice depth at LB. it would be a downgrade but we can sustain a slight drop off at that position.

the only way for us to acquire more draft capital is to either bomb the season completely and get a top 3 pick and auction it or unload some players. we only have a few guys that anyone would really want.

Winston - LOL not gonna happen, no matter how much some want it to. that would do more damage than good.
Evans - see above. no way we get rid of one of our best playmakers
Brate - i dont think we'd get a lot for him in return so not worth it.
Marpet - same as Brate it wouldnt be worth the tradeoff
Gerald McCoy - this would hurt but our defense is already terrible and we could get some nice picks
Lavonte David - same as McCoy we could get something for him

id be shocked if we did this but its worth thinking about. i dont know how we are going to restock this team with only 7 picks a year when we dont seem to hit all that many of them
