Everyone keeps talking about trading down, which I'm fine with if we find a good deal. But that's a big if in my opinion.
I'm also on board with drafting one of the top 3 RBs at 19,if one's available and it's good value. However, both of those are big ifs.
My question is, does it make sense to take the guess work out of it and just trade up for Hooker or Adams? If so how much would that cost us? Picks 19, 50 and 84? Personally I'm OK with that if you restructure Martin's deal so you shore up RB with numbers and greatly reduce that need.
Beyond that the Bucs aren't drafting for immediate need, simply developmental players which Licht had been fairly good at.
Basically I'm saying the Bucs can or did fix every true need except safety, outside of the draft. Why not use the draft to truly fix it instead of hoping on a guy like Baker or Melifonwu.
