It is a disgraceful display of the American justice system. The dude was THREE TIMES the legal limit, wrecked his car, and killed his friend and teammate. All he gets is 180 days? What a joke.
But if that was me, you, or another Joe Shmoe, they would have thrown us underneath the jail. It's a complete joke.
I hear you guys, but Browns mom has takin Brent under her wing, and the dude has to live with that on his conscience the rest of his life.
I don't think that should matter. Brown's mother forgave him but he's already committed a crime that killed somebody.Any other person that isn't rich, strong, doesn't run fast, can't throw a ball, or can't shoot hoops would be living with guilt in prison for most of their lives.
Well, I don't know about him being rich, he ain't Tony Romo or Dez. The Cowgirls released him after all this came down, and while out on bond, he has been working in a Dallas warehouse packing boxes everyday.

He got attention because he was a cowboy at the time. Do you think you would have got off with the same slap on the wrist?

A lot of times prosecutors can freeze your assets until trial is over.

Good point, but his salary was 600K, and I don't know if he got all that after being released. Maybe not.
The person who died decided to get in the car with him and let him drive, right?
The person who died decided to get in the car with him and let him drive, right?
He already paid for that decision.

Im saying that Brent didn't kill some unknowing, innocent person. The guy who died was an adult who should've been smart enough to get a ride from the services mentioned.

Even if the guy didn't die, getting in a car crash with your blood alcohol level being 3x the legal limit is a crime alone. Me and you would have been in prison for that. The person that died was an idiot and he paid for that.

Good point, if he knew Brent was hammered. I don't know the in's and out's of the case. Were they out partying together? Brown may have been more hammered than Brent.
But whatever.. It's the justice system. People get off all the time. I just think if we all have to deal with the same system it should be the same for all. Dante Stallworth and Leonard Little killed innocent people while driving under the influence and those dudes got off easy and went on to continue making a living playing a game.I just think it sucks.

Can't argue ANY of that. They may walk on the charges if they have enough $$$$$$$$. But hopefully they can't escape their conscience.Another man recounted how he got drunk and smashed into another car. As the ambulance came, he held the hand of his dying victim.

Wow.. I thought it was suppose to be worst than that. I didn't know that.
