You're going to have a hard time convincing me McCown is any better than Glennon.Trestman is brilliant and his system is very accommodating. It's no coincidemce McCown's only year in which he was statistically better than Glennon came under Trestman.

Keep in mind Cutler set career highs in a variety of statistical catergories under Trestman as well.

Passer RatingTD:INT RatioTD % (Min 5 games started)He also tied his career best completion percentage at 63%, which was his best as a Chicago Bear. He also had his career best QBR since becoming a Bear. It's irresponsible to think that Josh McCown magically became a good player in his age 34 season. That just never happens. Even Brad Johnson had some solid years in MIN and WSH before his resurgence in Tampa, so you couldn't give Gru all the credit. The last person I can remember having such a miraculous late career turn around was Rich Gannon. Guess what? Trestman was his QB coach/O-Cord for most of those years. Trestman is a genius, and having Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery catching jump balls for ya doesn't hurt either...Just say NO to system product Josh McCown.

Chi_U_Clausen2_Mb_576X324.JpgOn Friday, career journeyman Jimmy Clausen went 7/13 for 150 yards and 2 TDs. Chicago reporters expect him to beat out Jordan Palmer for #2 QB duties in Chicago. My question is this: Will we pay him $5 million in 2015 to be our starting QB?
