Yep.Way I see it, this defense was already very good. In 2014 we have much better coaching. Add in two aggressive pass rushers in Donald and Sam, along with a solid young Nickel CB in Colvin or Gill....and we are gonna be pretty damn stout on defense. On offense we greatly improve the interior of our O-line through FA, get that stud playmaking TE we are missing, and add two very good WR prospects.There really aren't any gaping holes to fill. Tyrod should have every chance to succeed. I guess technically Glennon would to, but I've already explained that I am not interested in an average passer with no mobility leading this team....so I would rather role with an average passer that has great mobility in Tyrod. If he sucks, then we do whatever we have to in order to get Winston or Mariota next year....but outside the top three QBs this year, I don't see anyone worth using a pick on. So I would rather ditch Glennon in exchange for Tyrod and at least have the possibility of being exciting on offense next year.Now if one of the top three QBs fell to us, then of course this plan goes out the window....but the odds of that happening are slim and none.

I try to see suggestions from all angles, but I can't imagine giving up on a rookie that just completed 60% of his passes for 19 TDs and 9 INTs for a sixth round pick that has attempted 35 passes for 0 TDs and 2 INTs over three seasons. This doesn't make sense to me from any angle. I don't think trading Glennon to be a backup for someone makes any sense. The return on value just isn't there. The Bucs are better off keeping him as their own backup before trading him for a late pick.If they trade him for an unknown like Taylor, they better have a game plan beyond making a sixth round backup the starter and they better get more than Taylor for Glennon.
I was never sure in all the Cousins and Mallet stuff how Taylor slipped into the discussion. This guy was a suck passer in cllege and he's done nada in the NFL to say he isn't just as bad here.
