They're icing Tucker because they're dumb and have too much ego to play the undrafted guy over the 3rd round pick.

This is where we part.  You may be right BUT if this was true then don't they never bring in Mayfield because they have a 2nd round pick in Trask and he was part of their plan?

Coaches are playing rhe people they think give them the best chance to win under the circumstances, especially in a big game.  And as much as you clearly dislike Licht its hard to imagine him lording over Bowles on an RB

Maybe though. Conspiracies are convenient because they require no proof.

Licht was prepared to draft Mayfield 7th in 2018.

It’s a curious thing - maybe Tucker was part of a trade discussion? As DH has said, if it were Bucky that had 14 carries for 136 yards in a game - and then a week later we saw an 80% drop in his carries- we’d cry foul.

He’s right, because when something’s weird, it’s usually important… or at least it’s fodder for a new conspiracy that will keep some occupied for a few days/weeks.

I see so that overcomes his ego in starting White over Tucker? Its just coincidence -as DH and Biggs have pointed out endlessly - that White is more experienced in key facets and identified as "the MAN" by Coen?

I guess you think that with the fumble he is OUT and Tucker in for rest of game?

Based on the rest of your post, I can’t tell if you’re being facetious or not with this.

But, what I said in this regard is 100% true.

Hell, even if it were Rachaad, it would be spot on.

Nope, not being facetious. You were dead on with your comment. It’s weird that Tucker was not involved, especially early on?

The only thing I can attribute it to is that White is a bigger body in blitz pick-up/passing downs - and such a great option in the screen game? Or, my own conspiracy (theory) that has Tucker as potential trade bait?

You caught me with the 80% drop off - it definitely got me thinking. Could just be that Coen felt we’d gotten behind and had to go more heavily to the pass. After the run-heavy 1st half, we completely shifted to pass-centric plays. Even forcing flea-flicker - 50-50 passes that proved costly?

Like I said, you’re right to bring it up, cuz it’s weird. But panic is real in the NFL, could just be that?

great  . .

"San Francisco is on its bye this week, but General Manager John Lynch noted in a Wednesday morning interview with KNBR that McCaffrey remains on track to have his practice window opened next week to potentially play against the Buccaneers."

Our schedule was really front loaded this year. Think we're going to be 4-6 and then make a serious run. This is the path to the playoffs after being 4-6.

@NYG W

@CAR W

vs LV W

@ LAC Split with DAL

@ DAL Split with Chargers

vs CAR W

vs NO W

At 10-7 with a strong NFC record and head to wins over Washington and Philly will get them in.

Falcons also have some very hard games: @Vikings, @Broncos, @Commanders, vs Chargers. It's not impossible they collapse.

Atlanta beats up on Dallas.

Saints lose to the Panthers.

Hopefully we keep getting healthier:

1) offensively by get Mike back…and

2) defensively, by staying healthy and by having Kancey, Taya & Braswell take the next steps.

Have the Bucs ever won 7 games in a row?

interesting question.  Wonder if the board gamblers know?

Incredibly tall order.  Last year was 5 of last 6.

Vegas had us at 8.5 wins (?) before the season.

In 1979 or 1980 The Bucs started out at 6-0. That may still be the most wins in a row.

That must be 1979! Doug Williams, Ricky Bell, Leroy Selmon.  First playoff game, actually lost to Rams to go to the SB

Wanted tickets to that game, but glad I didn’t get them, the waterfall bowl was ugly.
