He has an "unexcused" absence, and I am speculating that it has something to do with him being behind Tucker and Edmonds on the depth chart. What does that mean? That probably means he'll be inactive on game day. So no special teams, no nothing in his contract year. It has to be frustrating for Vaughn, but that's life in the NFL. Some didn't even make the final 53. He needs a shot on another team, and he'll probably get it in short order. I don't see him making it to the weekend.

Well in that case I doubt Vaughn makes it to Week 1. If he's on his last year and he isn't going to play, why waste a roster spot on him? You have Laird on the practice squad who is versatile.
