. . . sounds like a Superbowl run.
I at first thought we were signing Desean Jackson to replace Vincent - save a few years. But, as Dirk Koetter has beaten me to it, Desean can be our newest Joey Galloway. I don't know if Desean is quite as flat out fast as Joey(it's only like a hundredth or a second or so), but what's special about Desean is his acceleration and agility.
Chris Baker has never played in a 4-3. So, Jason Licht is trying to do something creative. Chris Baker can certainly stuff the run. I feel like after the Cowboys ran the ball on us, Licht/Koetter felt the need to become harder to run on for sure. But, maybe Chris can punch holes through the oline and give McCoy and the de on Bakers side a lane to rush through.
Bucs also signed J.J. Wilcox. He's an emerging player. He appears to have good hands and great tackling ability. This last year, he seems to have gotten better about angles and such. Pair this guy with Keith Tandy, and we have a pretty exciting secondary.
Draft best player available. As Light seems to indicate, he wishes the season would start tomorrow!
- There's still plenty of pre-season; so, it's way to early to say which team has won the offseason.
