Last season everyone on this board, twitter and everywhere in the universe wanted Greg Schiano fired after starting the season 0-8. We Bucs fans have watched 7 years of losing. Yes, the Bucs haven't been to the Playoffs in 7 years. In fact being a season ticker holder I don't go to an overly amount of games however my "all-time" record is 0-7. I have never seen my favourite sports franchise win a game live, ever.After 4 hour flights plus connections I come to see us get our asses blown out or lose a close game. Heartbreaking. (See BAL@TB this season or TB@NYJ last year)But Bucs Fans. Our best coach EVER; Sir Tony Dungy came into Tampa with Mike Alstott, John Lynch, Hardy Nickerson, Donnie Abraham, Derrick Brooks, Warren Sapp started his first season at 1-8. Only to finish with a stout 5-2 record. Then surprising the football world and starting the 1997 season 5-0 along with the franchise's first playoff berth in years.Yes, we are having a rough season. Yes, we should be doing better with the amount of talent on this team. Yes, they promised us a winning season and it just hasn't been there BUT. Our supposed genius Offensive Coordinator hasn't called a single game. Our Mike LB was injured for 3-4 games leaving his experience in this new system worse then it should be at this point. The thing I would like to remind you is firstly; there is absolutely nothing we can do. We watch and cheer but that is all we can do on any given Sunday or for any given draft. Secondly, Lovie has done this for a long time and I can promise you that he knows what he needs and what he wants to be a success in the NFL. So, before we bring out the pitchforks and torches for the third time in five years lets be a bit more patient because good things happen to those who wait and as Gerald McCoy explained in his press conference on Monday. There will not be a better feeling in the world when we start succeeding looking back at all these awful weeks and saying "We made it" and I CAN'T WAIT.
