We wanted Minkah at 12...

Anyone else hear Rappoport during round 1? When Oakland was on the clock at 12 he mentioned the Bucs were trying to move up ahead of the Dolphins.

The Cardinals got that trade and took Rosen.

Why were we moving up ahead of Miami?
Either we thought they would snag Vita, which is plausible since Suh went to LA..

Or maybe we wanted Minkah and gambled on him being there at 12.

If you think about it, we took MJ Stewart, and Jordan Whitehead. Two guys who are similar to Minkah (versatile, safety/corner hybrids).

Not that we will ever know, but it's interesting to think about. Did we miss our on our guy and then try to go Plan B with MJ Stewart?
