we won only because it was cardinals
And we think the Bucs have a chance in the playoffs? If the even make the playoffs LMAO. How the fuck does Carolina beat the Rams? It's just more mediocrity from Bowles. You can't let a loser team like the Cardinals come into your house and almost take the game from you. The offense gets Baker, Godwin, Irving, and Bradeson back and they are SMFH bad. I MEAN REALLY FUCKING BAD. Sorry, I'm pissed even though they won.
yepp, someone should explain grizz who chris godwin is.
bowles switched to softer defense as soon as we went two scores up and mccollum is just another murphy-bunting with zero football intelligence. defense had two turnovers but bowles almost screwed it up
it simply doesn‘t look good, it was unthinkable but we could really lose the division
we won only because it was cardinals
Bucs have some shit teams - saints falcons and dolphins
really no excuse to lose those games.
Carolina looking like best case a split
worried how they play today that only game I’d consider a penciled in W is the saints
falcons in prime time or dolphins on road far from a given
bucs should go 11-6 which wins it but today’s game didn’t instill any confidence in that
Not sure how anyone including our owners that think this is good enough. Oh we will get to the playoffs maybe probably but wow have they lucked their way to the playoffs with easy schedules and it's not good enough to get anywhere if they get to the playoffs. Is that ok for some people because I don't think some key players with contract needs will want to stay here with the mediocre coaching we have. Good enough for some people though...
as long as they get rid of bowles I‘m gonna be fine with any outcome

to be clear the players are the one executing or lack thereof
it’s no coincidence we’ve been able to maintain our players in Tampa bay so I don’t agree that Bowles would be a deterrent there.
and very few agree with the notion that the Bucs should have extended Bowles in the summer. Silly premature move much like extending Zyon after 1 year
Bowles would have either been extended or fired in January following seasons conclusion
given the lame injury excuse, he likely would have gotten an extension with another playoff birth even if 1 and done
not saying it’s right as it doesn’t look like we will go very far with him as head coach
we need an offensive guy but I don’t see them moving on from Todd in 2026

Really hope you are wrong. Glazers are blind and wasting time/money if they keep this clown..
Todd isn't getting fired but he should.
Grizz very low likelihood gets fired... But he should.
Special teams is the biggest no brainer to fire.
I think Grizz is more frustrating to me... bowles is actually slightly above what I expected to see.
It's not all on Grizz but his play calling lacks common sense. He goes big when he should go small ball. He goes small ball when he needs to take risk.
Which is the the same backward approach that Bowles takes.
The difference for me is David/Dennis and the edge rushers. They are constantly out of position. Bowles can coach them until he's blue in the face but David is a fossil and Dennis isn't an NFL player. The edge rushers aren't good.
We got Reddick back and it made zero difference.
But simultaneously Bowles drops these guys into coverage so much it's hard to consistently get pressure
Gotta like the Wirfs TD call. I don't think the play calling was that bad. When you can get four of five yards running Bucky on 1st down that's what you do. They usually were pretty conservative and didn't take a lot of deep shots. If they did it was Baker improvising. You can't blame Griz for that.Todd isn't getting fired but he should.

As for the pass rush I don't know why you don't send the house on 3rd and 9 with Brissett. And if they're throwing the short pass then sit on that. I didn't see Brissett throwing a lot of deep balls.
The pass defense seemed pretty loose once again. Brissett knows how to take what they give him. But they only gave up 17 points. You can't really complain about that.
The Bucs didn't give up any big mistakes. Otton didn't hand they hand them the ball on silver platter. So that's why we won.
they should have kept that wirfs play for the playoffs
We got Reddick back and it made zero difference.
When we got Godwin back it made zero difference, but now it is. Bucky had some spark today, but his average was still low. Might have to give it some time although not sure the offense will be that successful with that kind of line play.
they got the win. it was ugly but they got it. lets see what happens next week
we won only because it was cardinals
This team will backdoor into the playoffs due to a dog shit division.
Get the brakes beat off them in the WC.
Todd will get the injury excuse.
Ownership will be content with another season of medicority.
Again, the killer instinct and winning mentality left a few years ago.
The Bucs are not going far with these kinds of defensive performances. I can see the offense being off today but the defense has no real excuse and was terrible. Almost a 6 yard average running and Brissett 100 rating (highest if the season, I think, definitely above his average)

but the defense forced 2 turnovers, a field goal miss, a turnover on downs when it mattered most
you need to put up 30 points to win in the league on most weeks. When you look at when Bucs were thriving last year or in the Brady years, that’s what they were averaging
putting up 20 points and still winning is a credit to the defense
and I’m not usually one to claim “refs” but looked like some pretty obvious holds on both the cardinals TDs

yeah what was up with some of those calls?
Good points. Maybe I am wrong to call out the defense. I just think they cant be that soft down in and out because a good team will destroy them. For example, almost 6 yards per carry allowed and then they were 2-2 in the red zone. and its really the defense that is on the hot seat. The offense is just getting guys bacck
