let's say hypothetically the Bucs beat the Saints 30-20, offense is rolling. Were you suggesting to rest the offense in week 18 against Carolina? Killing momentum?
assuming we aren't completely inept and can somehow beat the 2-14 Panthers with our playoff lives on the line, maybe this loss can be a blessing by keeping the guys playing and fresh
5 out of 6 wins would still be nice momentum but the hope is our offense will be closer to the 30 point mark and not in the teens

Hope White can get his 85 yards Sunday to eclipse the 1k yard mark. And Godwin can get about 30 yards as well. We'd have 2 WR's over 1,000 yards and a 1,000 rushing yards in a single season. Pretty cool accomplishment for any OC.

Ideally this game would start in a way that the Bucs have yet to show they can play and that is with a first drive TD and complementary stifling defense, meaning 3 and out not hold them to a FG after 60 yards. Take the game right out of the Panthers, sort of what they Sainst did to us.
I just dont think we have that. Bowles seems to lay back a lot in the first series and Mayfield seems to need the game to be on the line . . for the most part.
