Tez played 32% of the snaps and got one target.
I think McMillan had 3 catches in the first 6 weeks of his rookie year. I think he's on for more like 65% of the snaps. There were similar questions raised about him and some reporting that he needed to learn to be a professional etc.
McMillan was a 3rd round pick? Tez a 7th round pick?
He will get his chance, maybe this week!
Again, my point is that he's a liability in blocking unlike bigger receivers. If you are going to put a guy out there and not throw to them at least they should be able to block.Tez played 32% of the snaps and got one target.

Undersized receiver, Devonta Smith played nearly 90% of the offensive snaps against Tampa.
He only had 2 targets.
He's also a liability in blocking.
So, what was he in there for?
Why we hating on Tez? Wtf
Either way I'll be driving up to Seattle for the game so hopefully Tez plays well in the PNW per his college career

i understand where you're coming from but not sure an OC says "this is going to Godwin so put the good blockers in." More likely would be Tez clearing space.
lots of deep threat guys, for example, are small and fast so probably not great blockers.
already said it (maybe in this thread), I’m with you on Tez. As a matter of fact I think what he did last week in the Philly game, put him on Baker’s radar. I have this feeling he’s going to be apart of this weeks gameplan. Hope he’s ready, think he is.Why we hating on Tez? Wtf

While I like the idea of getting Otten some looks, just think he’s going to have his hands full in the blocking game, so it just makes sense to work Tez into the mix.
Eagles fans are wondering the same thing about their receivers. If they weren't undefeated they'd be wondering a lot louder.Again, my point is that he's a liability in blocking unlike bigger receivers. I too hope Tez is involved more. The fact that a 7th round pick is getting in for a third of the snaps is pretty amazing in itself. it It shows there was some plan for him that wasn't realized. Trey Palmer only got 11% of the snaps in 2024 because he wasn't a great route runner. I haven't heard that being a knock on Tez. It will be fun to see what he does once he gets the ball hopefully this week. We are all looking forward to that.
Both teams beat up. Never thought I’d be so ready for a bye week so early.
need to start fast. Need to play sound football.
protect the ball. Need to clean up special teams.
Seattle is a tough place to play.
will miss Bucky but Tucker is capable.

agreed.
If he is a short route YAC guy (as his primary strength) then he has a crowded WR room to overcome before he would ever become more than a gadget/specific play type receiver. If Evans is on, for example, they are going Egbuka and Godwin. If Egbuka is in Evans roll then they often go Shepard and he has made some plays (to be fair to him).
Good problem for the Bucs to have that talent, but if you take someone like Shepard, for example, eh ahs mayfield's confidence, he is a vet and he knows the offense very well. That touhg for Tez to overcome.
I am hoping TODAY Tez is on the filed and he gets a big play on a typical Mayfield broken play, improvising scramble! Thats where hopefully Tez could be a dagger.

Missed FG and we get the ball back.
