I think it's safe to say, we will have a great defense this year. Our line brings a lot of pressure, and our secondary is very aggressive, without Verner who may very well be the best DB we have. It was good to see Goldson get a pick, yes the TE slipped, but he was coming in with a lot of energy and would have brought a lot of hurt either way. Banks had a good game, he is a rangy corner who I really feel will excel in this scheme. I liked his pass deflection after getting beat for a reception the previous play. Our studs played well also McCoy is truly making a name for himself, and him Lavonte continues to flat out make plays. Foster is getting in on the action too. Johnson is overpaid and needs to do more, but Clayborn and English looked strong today. As far as the offense, I'm really hoping and thinking the reports are true of Tedford keeping a lot of things under wraps. It was good to see VJ showing no signs of slowing down, Evans making some nice plays, and Doug Martin looking like his old self. McCown is great, but still needs to be a little more decisive, and his nice to see he has some wheels still. I really want to see ASF get more involved. I don't think our offense will come out the gates blazing, but I think as the season goes on and the offensive line gels, they can be pretty good. Overall, a great showing!
