This Sunday will be our first loss. Obviously, anyone could predict that, but how bad will it be? Our O'line has no chance against Philly's D'Line. I just hope Baker comes out of this game unscathed. Could be a disaster.
I think we have a punchers chance even with all the injuries.
Just gotta play our best ball
I think we get blown out and I'm okay with that. We just need to get healthy.I think we have a punchers chance even with all the injuries.

I think it could be a close game if we do some things right. Need some turn overs and convert early downs to make 3rd down easier on both sides of the ball. Keep the penalties to minimum. Do that we can win start 4-0.
I just want to thank you for this thread. You are the best and rank up there for top reasons for this teams success thus far

Going to be interesting for sure how Bowles decides to play this. In the past he's zero blitzed Hurts and gone after him like he did Tyrod Taylor last Sunday.
But that's because they didn't have an AJ Brown playing on the outside. Will he trust Zyon/Dean to hold their own? Guess we'll see.

i think this would be the plan, right?
Not suggesting it would work, but they will try to stop the run, as always, and blitz Hurts.
One big wild card is how the offense performs. Part of beating them was jumping out to a lead early, I think 14 points in the 1st quarter. That allowed us to run and took them a little off of running. The year prior we started slow and lost, I think.
Tough to have to rely on offense though with makeshift line and no Evans or Godwin, with an offense that has not been starting fast this season
Whether they win or lose this game will tell us a lot about where the Bucs defense is headed. Two reason.
1. did they just get lazy or gassed in the 4th quarter?
Right now they are the 17th defense based on scoring. That is WHO THEY ARE and that is not good enough to go very far, at least when the offense is so injured. If you take out the ST TD they are probably 14th and basic competent play in the 4th qtr probably brings them down into 7-9 range. I am not sure that is who they are though, partly because of #2. They seem more like their current rank, but we are about to learn more about that.
2. Do they have an unfixable ILB problem?
The rams had the Eagle down and then the Eagles started throwing to WRs. The ST touchdown helped, but their natural game plan would be to go to their receiver early against the Bucs. Do they do that OR do they look at film and say the way to beat the Bucs is underneath, exploiting the LBs. Thats more like their Dallas win. If they make that change then the Eagles certainly see on film a bad LB corps.
I like that! A punchers chance, that’s just what this is!I think we have a punchers chance even with all the injuries.

Bucs defense hasn't found its footing yet to play four full quarters. I would not be surprised if they can pull it off against the Eagles. To me right now they look like an average defense but can be better if the pass defense tightens up in Q4 as the run defense is top ten already and that is with young guys like Roberts and Dennis seeing significant playing time.

I was hoping you would post about this game. I thought it might be on Friday, but I'll take it today. Allows for a few more days to gin up the mojo.
if we have Godwin and Wirfs, i think its likely we can win this game
BUT...if not, then yeah, no shot.
Mayfield has to have his best game so far this season. Which he's been really good but id like to see some better overall games. Starting with this one. Thats also the same for our run game. Honestly think our defense has been the most consistent thing from our team. They're not perfect but they been getting the job done. I could see them giving the eagles offense some trouble like they have in the past. I always liked how we match up against more mobile offenses. Cause our guys can usually run too. Get them in third and long situations Hurts can throw some questionable ones.
Taking the Eagles to cover (3.5).
Hope I'm wrong.
