Bowles actually addresses the choice. It’s one reason why some point to Bowles for the offensive woes. He basically said Lenny was having success inside and after contact so they rolled with him.
not sure Brady has happy feet as much as he is just getting the ball out quickly. He’d be right to have almost no faith in his line. I would love to see Walton succeed as he is a great story but having an injured Wirfs and an undrafted swing guy as tackles …

We have 7 wins and 3 of them came in the final seconds of the game in which we were down for most of the game. so we run 1 in 3 plays...always on first and we basically were losing most of the game in 11 of 15 games.

stat by itself is misleading. We run every damn first down, that’s why it’s ineffective. Defensive coordinators aren’t morons and know it’s coming. Also, then our coaches settle for field goals then we’re always behind and have to abandon the run. It’s really not that difficult to fix this crap, it’s why most of us are so irate.

totallg agree on the substitutions. These coaches actually go away from what is working. They can’t even get out of their own way. White is killing it…let’s take him out. Passing game is working….let’s focus on the run.
with Brady’s check downs, yea they annoy me too, but if we didn’t send every WR on a 6 second route maybe Brady would have some more options. Have we run one damn WR slant all season long?? Coaches have to work with what they have. We have a crappy offensive line and these Lefty is too stupid to adapt.

@pennywise our offensive is injured. One starter has played up to his potential. The other is feeling sorry for himself. 76, remember or championship year 2020. Smith was about to sit out that year. 76 Doesn't care about football. Bottomline, we wouldn't be 31 in yards if we had our original starters playing. Things would be a little better.

Our run rate goes down in the 4th quarter when we are always down. No bad rushing team runs the ball on first and second down as much as we do in the first 3 quarters. There are some good rushing teams that do.
KC and Minny run just a tad bit more on first down than the Bucs .
That 1st and 15 where we got 14 yards with the O-line pushing Lenny downfield was followed by 3 straight unimaginative runs that failed to gain 1 yard. That's everything you need to know. While I think Lefty sucks, I don't think he would have called 3 straight dumbass runs in a row if not for Turd Bowels. There's all kinds of safe plays you can run to gain 1 yard and keep the defense off balance. That was our season in a nutshell, and the HC and OC share the blame.
