I think the failure of so many USC QB's has made teams leery of taking the QB off a team with so much NFL level talent. It is easy to looks good throwing to the best player, being blocked for by the best guy. You take Carr, Bortles, Bridgewater or even Manziel off their teams and those teams are likely pondscum. McCarron OTOH might be the 4th best player on offense at any given time on that squad.

He started 25 games, and while there was some sharing with Henson, he still threw the ball 600+ times.

Saw something about him changing agents and reconsidering his decline...apparently he hired smarter agents.
I think the consensus was if Michigan didn't even know if he should be their starter then he must not have great potential. especially when he looked so physically unimpressive at the combine. huge mistake none the less. he had a bunch of come from behind victories, usually bailing out Henson, and well he lead them to a 10-2 record and a #5 ranking. 6 QBs were taken before him and all were busts except for Pennington. and theres no comparison there.
Mcarron is second only to manziel as the best qb in this class imvho.I kind of see a smarter sanchez. He won't carry a team on his own, but he will not hurt it either.He probably won't be drafted in the first because of the worry of the solid team around him possibly carried him, but regardless, he should go in the first.
McCarron needs to make a good impression at the senior bowl.
