Our new OC, Jeff Tedford.Most know how I feel about our FA frenzy. Some will work out and some will be a new wrapper on the same bag of poop. What I'm most excited about is the thing that needed the most change, IMO, our offensive philosophy. It became apparent that it is and will be extremely hard to line up and push a defense back. Especially with the recent resurgence of the NFC South defenses. What we need is isolation. We have some weapons on offense that are a mismatch, we need to be better able to take advantage. I don't know much about Tedford, other than what I have read, but it seems like he is able and willing to work outside the box. After Schiano bringing the NFL backwards 30 years, this will indeed be a fresh take on offense in Tampa.Just a tid bit I picked up. Tedford's first game at Cal, first possession, first play call, you guess it, WR double pass for a TD. I'd say he'll be a little less conservative than the Sully/Schiano tag team.
