What is the consensus on the respect that the Buc's have garnered?

i dont think anyone classes us

As discussed earlier in the thread the Bucs really have to earn everything they get.  Small market, non-historic team etc.

Sort of how it should be anyway, so let's see them earn the step up.

Fire makes a really good point about expectation in one of these threads because he says he'd rather see the Bucs with a chip than all the love anyway.  I agree.

ESPN has the Bucs rated at 14th to win the Super Bowl. I like it. Let's see the Bucs sneak up and create some unexpected noise.

That is insane!  If we finish worse than last season, we will have a complete overhaul of the coaching staff.  

Also, objectively, we have a top 10 team no matter how you evaluate the coaching staff.  One of the worst coaches in the game just won the super bowl.

I'd have us a little higher than 14, maybe in top 10...but caveat that i am a Bucs Fan.

So makes sense that the 4 teams that finished in the conference finals would be ahead of us - Chiefs, Eagles, Bills, and Commanders.  Dont think anyone can argue those points..While i think we are better than Commanders....the fact that they beat us in our house and then dismantled the Lions, something we fell short of a playoff ago...yeah...we aren't ahead of those teams

you then have the Media Darlings and perennial 12+ win teams in Baltimore and Detroit which will be ranked ahead of us

so that leaves slot 7 to 10 

who is battling for that...the Bengals, Chargers, Texans, Broncos, Cowboys, Packers, Vikings, Bucs, Falcons, Rams, and Seahawks.

4 spots for 11 teams and i would say we are better than a lot of those teams.  Unfortunately we have been a .500 squad in a shit division the last 3 years so really hard to have us high until we prove it....and that's 12 wins and a playoff win
