First of all, I despise the Eagles. Even though the Eagles ended the regular season in Disarray, this is the playoffs. Don’t get caught up in this last 6 weeks. They’ll be strong on Monday. My heart is with my Bucs, but my money is on the damn Eagles.

We must prove we can stop their running game. They will pound until we slow them down. We will see a lot of inside zone where they will double team Vita and Kancey… and then get to the second level. Will Devin White be there? I doubt it. Maybe the worst MLB at fighting off blocks, he’ll probably be 10 yards down the field getting pushed back by Kelce or one of their guards.

We have to bring pressure and make them beat us with the pass. But I want to see tight man coverage behind a 6 man pressure. I don’t get why Bowles so often runs a soft zone behind a blitz package? It leaves too much ch space for receivers to work with. Either send your front 4 and play soft zone or bring the pressure and make them beat you.

On offense we can’t stubbornly run the ball. We must use play action, receiver screens, dump offs to White. And early. If not we will get in 3rd and long situations… and those won’t end well. Canales has to be as creative as he’s ever been.

Special teams has to come through. To me, our punter has always been a boom or bust. But he has the ability to make a major difference in a game. He’s got to be more consistent. And please continue to fair catch all kickoff returns. Even if you are catching them at the 5 yard line. Our return scheme is horrible, so take what the rules give you… the 25 yard line.

I’m excited for Monday and hope I lose money. It would be a nice trade off for a win. But I don’t see us matching their personnel or coaching, unless that Eagles team has truly quit.

Offense needs to put up 24 to be in the ballpark

without AJ brown and with hurts injury to throwing finger, the eagles are there for the taking

but if our offense puts up 9 or 13 points I’m afraid we won’t stand a chance.

So can they capitalize on the injuries to eagles secondary?

Im cautiously optimistic about this game and I tend not to be optimistic (ie packers, jaguars and panthers game) I, like all of you were optimistic for saints game.

man if we can get that packers jaguars mojo back we will be a tough out

this was the point that Brian Baldinger highlighted in arguing that the Eagles could crush the Bucs

in the videos he used from last game . ..  White is sometimes pushed out of the screen

we are relying on our least reliable defender

The only positive might be that he needs the film

@badabingbucs - we’re all hoping that will be enough.

Is AJ Brown actually out or just pouting, causing drama?

@bucsbits - white has never been good at runs directly at him. He wants to run sideline to sideline, not have to go head up.

@badabingbucs I agree. We have to put up at least more than 20, but can we hold them to less than 24? I don’t see it even if Brown doesn’t play. We have to stop the run. If we can do that then we have a chance.

This could be closer to a Antonio Brown situation than a Devin White situation, because this is happening at playoff time.  White pouted but came back to the team when it came time to step up and play.   Maybe this is just making a mountain out of a molehill, or maybe not.  We'll find out soon enough.

Things are falling into place with Brown out but it seems too good to be true... this is where the Bucs always seem to let me down

PR wrote an article detailing EXACTLY what we need to beat the Iggles.  Make more plays (special plays- Baker/Trask-whoeva IDGAF!!!!-ME!3, WHITE, GW!4, Vita, White, LVD, and of course W3!! and co) than them.  DONT SHOOT OURSELVES IN THE FOOT.  Lean on Camarda and CHASE to do the dirty work.  Then win the game like Iceman Flies, tight like a drum without mistakes, and when its time for a kill shot, take'm early and often.

Ramon B !981  GOOO BUCS!!!!

Life as a Bucs fan

If they win (and I certainly hope they do) I hope they win in a way that says Brown's absence was irrelevant.

Okay . .strike that . .   I will take any win!
