My take aways are this:
1) We got our first turn over
2) We got our first pick six
3) Our RB's are producing
4) Shake and Bake is the man! Glad he's on our team.
5) Egbuka has sticky glue all over his hands.
6) Offensive Line is still gelling and love that they are cohesive enough through the injuries to come together and give enough for Baker and the running backs protection and holes
7) Grizzard is making things happen
8) Refs still suck even with instant replay
9) Our defense is producing beyond where we should be and it's coming alive!!!!
Despite an epidemic of injuries and horrible calls with a drop being called a catch and a catch not being called a catch at crucial moments this team still wins.
LOTS of room for improvement. 3-0 is is great even considering a soft opening schedule.
Rest assured after Evans hangs them up we have our #1. That guy came through when we needed him and IIRC he probably has one drop on the year.
The trio of Parrish, Winfield, and Smith is special. They compliment Zyon and Dean very well imo
Our linebackers suck
The patchwork OL did just enough today to get us the W. I'm pleased with the 3-0 start considering cirumstances.

I think EE has two, one yesterday and one last week.

Morrison too. He had a great play behind the LOS yesterday.
Our linebackers suck
The team needs new LB's, for sure. The defensive savior continues to struggle.

Agreed. While the new OC isn't necessarily lighting up the scoreboard/stat sheet, he's got a pretty big handicap he's having to work though as a rookie playcaller. I remain cautiously optimistic about him.
Patchwork OL was just ok, too many penalties, need to clean that up. Hopefully Wirfs is back this week to help settle the group down.
Special teams aren't special at all, giving up big plays when they just need to be average.
The refs were awful, many of the flags were justified, but some weren't, and they missed some close calls.
Defense got tired in Q4 when all they needed was one or two stops to finish the game.
Baker is one helluva gamer, dude never gives up and makes big plays at the end of games.
Egbuka is the real deal, made some big plays yesterday.
It's great to be 3-0!

I like Morrison too forgot to mention him. Glad we are sprinkling him in games because we know what is yet to come...Dean will get injured at some point this year
Not sure we were all watching the same game. My top take aways
1.) we have the worst special teams in the NFL. Our coverage sucks, our returns suck, fg game major regression, and our punter even shanked a few. Impressively bad.
2.) Bowles lacks a killer instinct and almost gave this game away by playing not to lose with soft zone that didn't protect the sideline to keep the clock running.
3.) McCollum got paid and proceeded to immediately regress.
4.) Endless penalties and loafing.
5.) Team wasn't in game shape for the heat.
6.) 3-0 is awesome but the 3 teams we played have a combined one win.
7.) Dennis is not an improvement at LB. David looks very slow.
8.) Pass rush continues to underwhelm unless we blitz.
9.) Bowles blitzes every third down. Set your watch.
10.) Egbuka is the true wr1. As much as I love Evans he hasn't played well so far this year and father time catches everyone.
11.) Baker is maybe the most clutch QB in the league.
12.) If we are serious about contending we will probably need to make a few trades.
5.) Team wasn't in game shape for the heat.
With temps on the field at 120-130 degrees during the game (per Fox broadcast), I don't know why the NFL doesn't schedule Bucs' home games at 4 o'clock during September, or even at least one Sunday night game. if not for a more entertaining game, at least for the safety of the players.

Saints are worse on that for sure. Their ST literally handed the game to the Seahawks.
Here is my takeaway from yesterday's game:
1. Grizzard is a Wizard for making this O function and work with missing WRs and OL.
2. Mayfield is clutch and he is the ring leader of Grizzard's Wizardry. They go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly.
3. Egbuka is going to be a menace once Godwin, Evans and McMillan are back. Actually Egbuak is already a menace.
4. Bucs run defense is only to get better once Dennis, and Roberts are playing full speed.
5. Bucs DB's are legit when playing m2m like lockdown tight.
6. MVP Winfield Jr is back.
7. Parrish, Morrison and Smith really solidified the back end.
football is a game of inches
we end up losing that game and i am thinking that might have been one of our worst losses in franchise history at a time we are celebrating 50 years of history. Would have been historically bad
luckily Baker bailed us out on last drive and Chase is back to being Chase.
Through 3 games, we have beaten what looks to be 3 subpar teams (Atlanta 1-2, Houston 0-3, Jets 0-3) by a combined 6 points. I am still not sure what to make of this team.
We have been ravaged by injuries and let's face it, good teams find a way to win.
The positive is that this team historically would lose a toss up prime time game, fall on our d*cks in a creamsicle jersey game, have back-up QBs look like Peyton Manning; All of these seem to have occurred yet we end up pulling it out in the end.
So i'm excited for this team, but we need to stay healthy and it seems we get more and more causalities each and every week.
I think our defense has kept us in games all year and that has been the difference. Last year, our offense was averaging damn near 30 points a game down the stretch. This year has been off to a slower start. Even yesterday where the defense collapse in the 4th quarter, they gave us a TD and also set us up with short fields a couple times with turnovers/turnover on downs.
Once the offense gets buzzing, we can be a scary team.
Our linebackers suck
just one game but agree with the plural.
LVD involved in several missed tackles/receptions
great post but this part stands out

Bowles is probably extra pissed because before the 4th quarter collapse they were creating turnovers, getting pressure etc. 6 points allowed, I think.
The blocked kick (and other problems) really make me wonder about our ST coaching. It is possible that it was just a great play, but more likely it stood out on film that our snapper stayed low long. If os the coaches missed it on the self scout.
Our punter has always seemed slow too.
Bowles should be pissed at himself. It's not let Jets have a deep threat. We also got bailed out by a drop on 4th down.
He didn't protect the sideline. It's just simple 101 football if you're gonna bend don't break then make them eat clock across the middle.
Bowles is at his worst when it matters most. It's a miracle we won these games.
Falcons moved the ball well vs us and Panthers shut them out.
Texans probably should have had 28 vs us and Jaguars shut them down almost all game.
Jets with a backup still managed to score 4 times + the specials teams TD.
These were not good offenses... Bowles' defense is certainly "better" because we have better corners and an edge rusher BUT it needs to be better when it matters most.
