btw, Brady is 17-7....and two fluky plays away from being 19-5 with 5 Superbowl rings. GTFOH with that nonsense.

Manning has something like 3 of the top 5 playoff games of all-time. And Brady has thrown some horrendous situational red zone interceptions in the Super Bowl and AFC Championship but people don't remember because the Patriots won.

I could be wrong, but I think those 3 from Manning were all at home (Indy) in a dome.  If I could be promised a road to the superbowl going through all domes, I would take Manning but if I had no such guarantee I would take Brady.

Peyton did throw a noodle armed interception against the Ravens last year that lost them the game. yes there was the hail mary but Peyton had a chance for redemption.

both are good. but if you wouldn't take Peyton then you are out of your mind.

haha really man? Peyton Manning, regular season rockstar, postseason flop. Almost every time he's in the playoffs. Yes I know he won a Super Bowl but I've been watching Peyton since he was at U of T and it was great watching him lose to the Gators every year. He just doesn't win big games like Brady does. Brady has been in 4 super bowls, and won 2. Peyton is 1 for 1, but most of his playoff appearances have been one and done IIRC

Yep, and in the one Manning won he had a very good defense to watch his back...

Depends- if I pick Brady does that mean I get Belichick too?  If so then I pick Brady.  If not I go Peyton all day long.  Not to take away from Brady's skill because he is one of the best QBs the NFL has ever seen, but I think he has also had one of the best coaches too.  I really don't think Manning has ever had a coach of that caliber.  Think about it- the year the Colts lost Manning for the season they went from a contender to 2-14.  The year the Pats lost Brady they went from a contender to 11-5.

Brady has not been having a great season.  But I would not bet against him.

The guy who replaced Brady took the Chiefs to the playoffs the next season. The guys who replaced Manning are out of the league.

It's the teams around them that will sway the value, even id it's not supposed to.Brady is usually money in the playoffs, but damnit, manning is still one of the best qb's, by himself, to ever play the game. But I do see what you're getting at.

See when I saw this question I was putting it in strictly who is the better QB come playoff time. Putting aside the teams. It doesn't really specify so I guess it's how you interpret it. If the talent is equal for both of them I'm not sure how you choose Manning over Brady in the playoffs.

Depends. Are you saying better qb, or better playoff qb?Both are different answers imo.

Exactly.  Manning might be the best QB of all time, but he has choked in the Playoffs....however, Brady has choked as well, going 16-0 just to bomb in the SB.

He picks his QB's based on cuteness.
