2025
Lost 34 -7 to Rams; likely lost Baker for an amount of time, could be the end of the Bucs playoff streak
Lost 24-9 to Detroit, lose Evans for most of the regular season, ends his 1,000 yard streak
2024
Lost 41-31 to Baltimore, lose Evans for 3 games and Godwin in garbage time for the rest of season; Godwin hasn't been the same since.
2021
Lose 9-0 to the Saints and losing Chris Godwin all but ending our repeat run
Definitely rough, but not that uncommon unfortunately.
so much from here depends on Mayfield

Part of me hopes the Goazer’s keep the clueless dope.
Easy money almost every week.
Different intensity when you play against playoff teams. Mentally physically tougher opponent and then with the lights just creates a tough environment where everyone wants to prove themselves

we haven’t had a good go of it. Particular this year. 1-4 in our last 5 in which we beat a shit saints team

If you just compare to last year and you believe that teams win in the trenches, last year's defensive front 7 was nothing special and neither was the defense overall. The thing that made the Bucs competitive was our offensive line, which was largely intact most of the year. This year not at all, maybe coming back a little here with the run game.
This is why I wonder about the potential disconnect between fans seeing this as sort of an all-in SB year and the front office who did almost nothing for the defensive front 7 expect for Reddick. That difference - the Bucs defensive front 7 versus the front 7 of the Rams - really stands out. For whatever reason (cap, philosophy or whatever) the Bucs seem like they are building exclusively through the draft and even in the draft picking where they are (tough as thew division winner) or trading back even.
