If I remember correctly, his "inside source" is no longer associated with the team. Therefore, he's not getting the accurate information that he had been hearing 2 years ago. I still enjoy reading his posts and hearing his take on things, but I don't expect him to have any inside info this time around.

I've been a Lovie Smith guy. Smart man, terrific coach. I'm sure he used his time off to make himself even better and identify his own weaknesses and mistakes. He's that kind of guy.Instant restoration of respectability as well.

Fairly or unfairly, Coach Schiano's rep is crap around the league. Lovie has tons of respect. If he's the guy, not saying he is as yet, but he'll boost this team's respectability right out of the gate.
