The Bucs are far from complete, but what a turn around in a short amount of time. I suspect we'll have a top 5 offense next year. Our defense, if we stay healthy, will be greatly improved. Maybe top 20. Baker adds a lot. If Jack Smith is healthy and if Spence matures we WILL get to the QB. Bond and Beckwith may help a bit, but who knows. In the secondary I expect Hargreaves to make a big leap forward. Ryan Smith is a question mark. Can't wait to watch him play. At safety, let's hope Tandy continues his upward trajectory. Evans and Wilcox will make a lot of plays and give up a lot of plays. We can win the division and go far, just so long as we're healthy.
In next year's draft we can complete the transformation.
We have 6 picks.
Needs: 1 top notch CB, 1 top notch safety, 2 OLmen, 1 edge rusher, and 1 LB
p.s. At safety, Evans is not the answer, but he can provide energy, attitude, athleticism, and some big plays. I'm expecting some busted assignments and missed tackles. With the good comes the bad.
