Who were we going to trade?

On Hard Knocks Koetter and Licht are talking in front of their big board. Before cutting Panfil they mention "we were gonna trade him out, but we didn't" and point to the top grouping of players. Anyone have thoughts on who that could be? Maybe Tandy? McDonald?
