Hey guys new to the board. I've been a fan around 20 years and wanted to share some of my Buccaneers passion on a forum. Heard this one is gravy baby! Now the issue at hand. Since the start of the NFL there has been one black Super Bowl winning qb. Doug Williams. And he won it during the "replacements" season and should have an asterisk next to their name in history. Now I know many would argue that Russel Wilson is black. However he is not. He is bi racial and calling him black would be equally wrong in calling him white. So case closed on that objection.I don't mean to stir feathers but I would like to discuss why this has been the case.1. Not many black qbs in history2. The black qbs who have played cannot handle the mental pressure of the position 3. Black qbs are traditionally scramblers and that system seems to fail on the big stage4. It's just a myth Jameis Winston at moments seems to be the opposite of racial profiling when it comes to the qb position. At times he really steps up and makes the plays we have needed to win. Other times he looks scared lost and stupid. Is he above the stereo type?Jameis I think will be next black qb to win a Super Bowl because of his leadership qualities I just feel like with mariota we would still have lovie in office and possibly be talking about having just watched a WC game.
