I get the idea that a QB should keep his eyes down field to an extent, but why bother drafting a guy who makes his plays by extending them with his feet if you are going to try to change him into a pocket passer? Might as well trade Jameis or let him walk if you are going to do that. The Chiefs would never tell Mahomes not to run the football, the Ravens would never tell Jackson not to run the football, the Seahawks would never tell Wilson not to run the football. Hell, even Rodgers and Brady will sneak it or roll out if they see an opportunity. Now let’s think for a minute. What do all those teams I just mentioned have in common?

When Mr. Magoo got here he said he would play to his players’ strengths and he has a history with Jameis, so I’m struggling to understand what the hang up here is. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Every time we hire a coach because they are known for X, Y, or Z, they say they will do X, Y, or Z, then when it comes time to actually do X, Y, or Z, they manage to overthink the situation and somehow end up doing the opposite. WHEN WILL IT END?!?!?
