It makes my head hurt hearing some of you clamor for Elliott at #9.  (For the record, I think he will be a good player in the NFL).Here is why I dont like the idea of even thinking about RB in round 1 (and the consistently good teams seem to agree).1st Round RB's Drafted Since 2004Todd Gurley Rams GeorgiaMelvin Gordon Chargers WisconsinTrent Richardson Browns AlabamaDoug Martin Buccaneers Boise StateDavid Wilson Giants Virginia TechMark Ingram Saints AlabamaC.J. Spiller Bills ClemsonRyan Mathews Chargers Fresno StateJahvid Best Lions     CaliforniaKnowshon Moreno Broncos GeorgiaDonald Brown Colts   ConnecticutDarren McFadden Raiders ArkansasJonathan Stewart Panthers OregonFelix Jones Cowboys ArkansasRashard Mendenhall Steelers IllinoisChris Johnson Titans East CarolinaAdrian Peterson Vikings OklahomaMarshawn Lynch Bills CaliforniaReggie Bush Saints USCLaurence Maroney Patriots MinnesotaDeAngelo Williams Panthers MemphisRonnie Brown Dolphins AuburnCedric Benson Bears TexasCadillac Williams Buccaneers AuburnSteven Jackson Rams Oregon StateChris Perry Bengals MichiganKevin Jones Lions Virginia TechOf these 27, 6 would be worthy of a 1st round pick.  Taking out the 2 most recent (since the jury is still out on them), that is 6/25 = 76% Bust Rate.Considering all the other holes we have on this team...why would you not want to build the lines?  Secondary?
