In order:
1.) Bowles defensive game plan - it was a major dud
2.) Destroyed in the trenches. We didn't generate pressure and we gave up too much pressure. Part of that is on Baker adjusting the line.
3.) Unforced errors - penalties, turnovers, drops, blown coverage, and poor communication
4.) The refs - hate to make the excuse but it was one sided. So many missed holds.
5.) Lack of aggression on offense - gotta be willing to go for it when the defense gets shredded.
6.) Dean injury - he went out and McCollum gave up the key 3rd and 15 conversion + the TD.
7.) Canales/Baker not pushing it down field enough.
8.) McLaughlin finally missed.
We showed some heart but it's clear that we need better edge rushers, better MLB play (Britt was a nice stop gap), and improved iOL play.
We fell into zone and out our own defense on their heels. Ben Johnson’s scheme is designed to destroy zone and we let them chunk us to our 30 every cotdam drive til we went to man and Johnson Daggered us.
Bears 28-13 laid the blueprint to stopping them and we went with our wk 6 gameplan asinine. I understand the zone is for run fits but the Lions were chunking us through the air. And that 3rd and 15 tendency cover 4. Bowles would benefit from a guy he can groom to DC and get into his ear a bit he gets lulled into his tendencies

Ariana was that guy for Bowles where he would be like this “I see this I want this” Arians most likely called that all out blitz to Kupp btw but that’s football. Why I assume that, hard knocks AZ cardinals you hear Arians make calls of what he wants on defense sometimes like blitz here

Even tho he had an ok game, I’d love for us to part ways with him. He’s been injury prone since he came in the league.
I want to part ways with both injury prone corners . The amount of cash handed out to them is insane .
If Dean doesnt get hurt, Even just one more stop on 3rd down during the second half could have made the difference between winning and losing. I called it, when Dean was carted off, that it scared me...they were already shredding the middle of the field, with Dean out WHO slides to the Side? I think, if it we me, I would have put Izen there instead of McCollum and left MC as like a FS kinda role, AW3! as SS and then grind it out (who plays nickle?)...injuries happen, the LIONS had INJURIES along their OLINE...YET WE DIDNT BLITZ OVER AND OVER AGAIN...why not? They were vulnerable there and were vulnerable against man defense. Goff numbers where shyt through 2.5-3 quarters, it was when he found the soft middle and cowardly defensive play calling that the fear left his EYES and he started moving at will, Deans injury supported/enabled that partially. But most of the blame for that fall on BOWLES. I Want him back, but he really needs to find his SACK this offseason, or I WILL be DUN with him TOO. Canales has shown me enough ballz and creativity in one year as a rookie that Bowles, to me, is on a very tight leash. He has potential when he plays free, but is a coward when its his neck on the line in the BIG game. FIX THAT BOWLES, or I WILL WALK AROUND ONE BUC PLACE WITH A SIGN DEMANDING YOU BE DEMOTED TO DC AND CANALES PROMOTED TO HC. Get'yer hed out ur az!!! Or Go back to the Jets, that way you can play as "conservatively" (pussily) as you likey!!! AT this point you aint NO LION, stop lion to yourself. GET YOUR SACK BACK, OR STEP BACK, AND LET SOMEONE WITH A SACK CALL THE ATTACK!!!!

Is that the case OR did we just not have the horses? Thye beat us in the MIDDLE of the field. Britt was great in the hole BUT abused in the passing game. White was the opposite, Neal maybe worse. our DB gos down and then McCollum has to go out . .
Not defending Bowles just wondering if its MOSTLY a personnel issue.
They had THREE full field TD drives in a row. We could not keep up

We were extremely competitive for about 75% of the game in a hostile environment.
Sucks because we had a chance to steal one.
Now, time for what should be an interesting offseason with lots of question marks and decisions to make.
1). Lions a better team
Sorry Disagree. They got LUCKY. The Refs where on their side as was our play calling on the defensive'side. Take away 2 sacks, and 0.5 INT, and I think we win the Victory. Sans Deans Injury, we still may have found VICTORY. But what will be...will be, and now the team has an offseason for free to start learning who they CHOOSE TO BE. Will B find his Sack and start the attack? Or will he forever stay a Jet at heart...of that, WE WANT NO PART!!!! Im also a part time wrapper, of sorts, words fall onto my keyboard at times like this when. im.. just...bored....BEAR with me mY Cohorts.

I disagree, I believe Baller outplayed GOFF, GOOF woulda GOFFED if Not for Bowls being SOFT!!!! And the Injury to Dean was just fate being mean. The Refs were befuddled by Fate but still found a way to secure fate for the Kitties, we shoulda been FULL to our stomach from Kitty pussi on the flight back, but our D was called by a Pussi named B

Amen. Thats how we do it. I VALUE YOU DH, even when I disagree with you, Im trying to learn from you, because maybe its my eyes that are wrong because I cant interpret what Im seeing.
