doubtful.

i think they are content making the playoffs.

Probably the case.

Need all the draft capital we can get.

WR, iOL, ILB, EDGE are major needs this offseason.

Starting to look more like a transition year - Evans and Godwin may never be the same.  Reddick isn't the difference maker we wanted.  We want to get healthy after the break, but there are guys not coming back.  Kancey, McMillon, Mauch, Kieft are out for the year.  They're not coming back after the break.  Goedeke and Bucky we have no idea.  Mayfield, Egbuka banged up.

Sure next man up.  The Bucs can win the division, but they've been snakebitten with injuries.  Thanks to the sorry NFC South the Bucs can claim another division title.  Coaches get to keep their jobs.  But are they going to give up a draft pick to get a rent-a-player?  I don't see that happening.

Evans and Godwin were the engine that drove this team.  They're finding a new identity, but it's not going to result in a trip to the Superbowl.

If you are a betting man it would be super simple to write off the team. I would easily agree because we don't have Evans and Godwin. However the team has also looked fine without those two so I don't know what type of team shows up when it matters most. Would I be shocked if we ended up going further than anyone thinks. I wouldn't be. I still think they can win tough games they maybe shouldn't. They're also capable of losing games we should win. So it's definitely up in the air. But I don't think there's a clear cut best team right now. A lot of teams been up and down.

Solak says we need an LB

Who could be targeted? Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks. The biggest weak spot on a young and exciting defense is LB2, where SirVocea Dennis has struggled opposite Lavonte David. The Buccaneers don’t tend to aggressively pursue talent at the deadline, but GM Jason Licht could become emboldened by a weak NFC and a Super Bowl-ready offense. Brooks is one of the best players, regardless of position, who could be available.

Eagles have added two corners and a linebacker.

major props to their brass.

brady always said it best. Which super bowls your favorite?

the next one.

eagles aren’t content with one. They want two. Theee. Four.

i wish we had that same mentality.

i get it you build through the draft.

however if you can make additions to help you win now and here. The draft is such an crapshoot. How many picks have we wasted? Not just us every team. Give me the proven commodity more times than not.

Big difference between us and the Eagles right now.

Eagles acquire Jaelan Phillips for a 3rd round pick

to be honest, the guy has yet to have double digit sacks and given the way Anthony Nelsen played against the Saints, i honestly would label that a great trade if Bucs were to make it

For Bucs to move the needle, they'd likely have had to acquire a Crosby or Garrett.

im sure Bradley Chubb is also on the trade block.  I wonder what his trade value is given injury issues

Not to use Vegas as a measure, but aren't the Eagles maybe top 4 or 5 to win the Super Bowl?  Are we in the top 10?

You mean the Eagles, who are a 2.5 point underdog against the Packers next week on Monday night football???

There's no Simeon Rice to be traded for.  Let others waste their draft capital.

I am not advocating for a trade.  Other way around, but you didn't respond directly so I am guessing there is a reason and that reason is probably that even being underdogs against the Packers the eagles are top 4 or 5 to win the SB?

Yeah for Bucs to make a move, would have to be elite player really

and after seeing lions and packers lose at home to inferior opponents, hell man, I see no reason we can’t make the superbowl

we are good enough to go 2-1 in the next 3 but 0-3 would have me thinking yeah not a superbowl squad

patriots should be a win, let’s see what offense shows up for us this week

Injuries make it difficult to know if it's worth it to make a trade or two to help the teams chances this year. Problem is they may not be smart to do that if next year is maybe a better year for their chances if they have a healthier roster. However you get into the playoffs you always have some chance and we have been pretty good even with our injuries. I think past few weeks play does make it hard as well cause last few weeks haven't been the best. We've been finding ways to win all year tho. Would that continue into the playoffs? Not sure.

If Licht hadn’t done a pre-season trade for what looks like a failed Hassan Reddick experiment, maybe he’d be more inclined to go after someone (assuming a target is available).

Given Licht’s history, I don’t see it happening.

I actually think the devastating losses at o-line and WR1 & WR2 - may have caused Licht to re-assess our ability to compete for a Super Bowl THIS season.

I could be wrong, only have to wait one more day to see what Licht actually thinks.

But my question to the board is: are we one player away from having the talent to compete for a NFC Championship victory/SuperBowl appearance? Thats what you hope to gain from a mid-season trade, you don’t try adding an Edge, a WR1/2, and a RT.

Maybe those guys come back quickly and Licht knows this- so he’s pulling off a complicated trade - but I don’t get that vibe though. Anyone else get that vibe?
