The previous Bucs regime was concerned that injured WR Mike Williams was too caught up in partying and his new rap career because of his antics on social media. Williams accumulated fines of over $200,000 in 2013 for missed rehab sessions and meetings, and the team was contemplating releasing him in 2014. https://www.pewterreport.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=9562:&Itemid=15
I hope his mom reads this...
I KNEW it! One look at his twitter tells you he's a dummy
What?! I thought Mike Williams was a standup fella dedicated to football.Did WR just become a greater need?
OK, I understand that MW19 ius a knucklehead and all so you might want to move on but then to turn around and do this "the Bucs were considering signing former Rutgers wide receiver Kenny Britt, a first-round pick in Tennessee in 2009 and free agent in 2014, who might have replaced Williams" <--- What? I mean if MW19 is a court jester, Britt is the Duke of Dumb.Reality is I'm not sure how good MW19 is and I think more than anything the fact that he is non-complimentary to VJax means he is best served as a 3rd WR not a second.
Lucky for Williams that Smith is one of the best coaches to make or break this guy through his own actions.
His social media shit bothers the buc fan in me.
Been seeing this coming for awhile. He posts such ridiculous stuff on twitter. Vine videos from the strip club is his most recent brilliant idea. Hate to say it, but unless something drastic happens, he appears to be heading for disaster. Sucks because he is a great talent and we don't need another hole to fill.....but the good news is he got almost all his guaranteed money last year and if the sh!t hits the fan we can dump him with no penalty or cap hit. Hope he gets his sh!t together because I really like Mike as a player, but it's looking more and more like he'll never reach is full potential due to a bad case of being an idiot. I hope Lovie calls him into the office and breaks it down for Mike. If he can't grow up and give 100% then trade him while he still has value.
SO THEY KNEW ABOUT ALL THIS .... and Dummynik still felt it so important to extend him to a lucrative long term deal before the start of last season ??Wow..... why extend him at all !!!??Worst GM ever....Trade him for 3rd round pick and draft Sammy

Willing to give him a pass for this last year. Kid is young and just got paid...hard to blame him for not being motivated to rehab with the regime we had...hell I had a hard time being motivated to watch. I will say that after reading this, I am becoming a bigger fan of Watkins at #7.

Or possibly brilliant when it comes to how it was structured. I will agree Dom had some bad signings...but at least the recent ones have pretty good "out clauses" for the team.
"so this should only serve as a warning to Williams and other Buccaneers players that it’s not just a bevy of fans and hot women that follow their every move on social media"uh oh?
Bring on Sammy Watkins.

I hadnt seen anything questionable on other players twitter feeds. I follow most of the players of consequence, so if they are referring to the Tiquan Underwoods as potential problems...thats a simple fix.
