Signing Winston long term is a long term mistake for the Bucs. Especially when you factor in trying to sign Shaq Barrett. Bucs made the mistake once letting Michael Bennett go to Free Agency once. They won't make the same mistake again. If the Bucs were to sign Barrett and Winston to long term deals, at Winston's asking price of 30-35 million per, it would severely limit signing a top tier RB, safety and OL in Free agency. It would also hinder keeping the defense intake and extend Godwin. Think about that before you want Winston resigned. Also, If anyone thinks Winston is going to play under the Franchise tag they are crazy. Bell and Bryant set a dangerous precedent by holding out.
